Meditation and Prayer
Perhaps one of the greatest rewards of meditation and prayer is the sense of belonging that comes to us.
We no longer live in a completely hostile world.  We are no longer lost and frightened and purposeless.

Thought to Ponder . . .
Trying to pray is praying.

Hello folks, I'm Charlie J., and I have Alcoholism.  It's funny thing.  Prayer, that is.  In all the time I have been a member of Alcoholics Anonymous I have never heard of any one sharing their story who said that while they were praying to God for help, they stopped to take a drink.  My suggestion: If you feel the need to drink again, pray and don't stop until the need passes.  Thank you.
