Unique
A frequent problem for an alcoholic is that he may think he's unique.
He can't believe others have had the same experiences, the same problems.  He thinks he's different.
Not me!  I think there are many like me, but they don't get heard.
Some of them may be listening for a sign that they, too, can belong.
Well if I can do it, anyone can do it.  And I do belong.  AA is my life.  Why shouldn't it be?
Before, I had only a sort of existence; I only thought I was living.  I was wrong.  AA gave me life.

- The Best of the Grapevine [Vol. 2], pp. 33-34

Thought to Ponder . . .
I am unique, just like everyone else.

AA-related 'Alconym' . . .
Y A N A = You Are Not Alone.
Thanks to all of you for sharing so generously of your experience, strength and hope in carrying the AA message.
Blessings in sobriety to all,
In love and service,
